Mid Atlantic Baseball league

      **** Teams names: Mangers will pick their team names and the city their nearest too and their stadium name and model and type of surface::  Grass or Turf. If they chose change teams info in the future they will lose a first round FA and a AAA pick at the start of the following seasons. *** .

1. Draft:: We will be having a draft to see what order the  managers will be picking their teams as soon as we get 14 managers . The computer has already picked the Players  for each team.

2. Commissioner:   Should the Commissioner ever step down they will be a league vote to decide who will be his or her successor will be. They must be approved by 2rds vote by the managers.   The commissioner is responsible in running the league and simulation the weekly game and in charge of keeping the home page update. The Commissioner is entitled to spilt duties in the league.

3. Team managers: An manager may not switch teams at any time in MABL.   Managers must follow the league rules and be responsible  in participate in the daily operation of his or her team. If the Commissioner does not hear from a owner in   3 consecutive SIMMs they will get a warning letter from the commissioner and has one week or by the next sim to respond or they will lose management in the MABL.

4. League Schedule::  The Mabl is using a 14 team roster  with a DH. and will be Simulated a 162 games season.the trading dead line will be August 31,   Also on August 31 playoff roster will be due.

5. Sim and rosters:::  sim will be  7 games on Tuesday. and   7 games on Saturday. So roster will be due in by  Tuesday at 5:00pm Eastern and  Saturday at 5:00pm  result should be posted by 11:00pm    Roster:::  You can have a 5 or 4 man starting pitching rotation. Roster can not have no more than  a 25 active man ,  15 AAA, and 10 low.  Low is for player picked up in the Amateur draft only  a Low minor player can not be old than 26 years of age once he turns 26 he must be moved up in the AAA the following year or be released in the FA pool.  when sending in your roster use the Print to file option   found in the main menu in the preferences menu in the FPBB98. It will printed to a text file by the name of print in you     Bbpro_98 folder. Then E-mail me subject it as  MABL Roster or roster.

6. Contract::   List below are the max you can have to start a season with.

• When LOW or AAA player is brought up to active they will be giving a 2 year contract.that count against your max at the start of the next season meaning you might have to release player to fall with in the max.

• At the end of the season you must resign or extend two player contract that is ending. Ex: At the end of the first season you will be losing  4 player which has a 1 years contract  you must resign  two of  the four. You can only resign or extend a players contract one time  so if you    resign  Don Adams to a one contract after that contract is filled or finished he must be released to the FA.

• At any time you follow under you contract limits during a season " release players trade player career ending injures and so on"  you can give player a contract that you pick up in a trade or a FA .

• Trading  contract players:::  If you trade a player which has a 5 year contract away. The team that receive him must issue him a new contract before the end of the year or  lose him   at the end of the year. When you traded the 5 year player away you now have a 5 year open   contract  that you can issue to the player you received in a trade or another play you have that may not have a contract.

• Trading Franchise player. I have couple options. So this will    be the first voted on once I get I enough to vote:  #1 Then can't be traded.   #2 They can be trade but the player they are trade too  has the right to switch his franchise player to the newly trade for  and the player who trade him picks a new Franchise player at the start of the next season have a max a rule that you can have two franchise players if you trade for one. 

• Trades::::  All trades must be sent to Me at  [email protected] for approval.  All trade will take place on the last game of  the daily sim.

• Spring training:  You have the right to pick your spring training allocations or letting the computer control them for you. If you assign your own use the print to file copy and past it to a e-mail and send it to me subject MABL Spring training

      ******* Rules can change at in time. But rules changes will be voted on by the mangers which the rules has to be vote in by a 2/3 votes.
